AEC Advisors looked to Bold Brand to help elevate their in-person events for AEC leaders by featuring testimonials from prominent attendees. When the people in the room are the best of the best, letting them speak for the event is the strongest marketing there is.

The Approach

Event video is about being in the right place at the right moment. Our team travels with the event—capturing keynotes, hallway conversations, testimonials from prominent attendees, and the atmosphere that makes people want to be in the room next year.

The same philosophy carries into our portrait work. The difference between run-of-the-mill headshots and portraits is something you can feel. Emotion and personality should shine through, even in professional headshots—especially for a firm whose business is built on relationships and trust.

The Work

AEC PE Summit—The Boca Raton, FL. Hosted by AEC Advisors, the AEC PE Summit is the premier conference for leaders in architecture, engineering, and construction to network and talk about private equity issues in the AEC industry. Our team captured the event on film at The Boca Raton resort in Florida.

Purpose Video—New York City. What drives the value of AEC firms, and how can you affect those values? The team at AEC Advisors knows which levers to pull to most significantly impact valuations. We shot this purpose video on location at the AEC Advisors offices in New York City, giving the firm a clear, direct answer to “why AEC Advisors?” in video form.

AEC CEO Summit—Four Seasons, Scottsdale, AZ. The premier conference for AEC leaders to network and talk about the issues facing the industry. AEC Advisors assembles an impressive roster of speakers every year, attracting the best of the best throughout AEC. We captured the event at the Four Seasons in Scottsdale.

Portrait Photography—New York City. Alongside the video work, we photographed the AEC Advisors team in New York—portraits, not just headshots.

The Results

AEC Advisors now has a library of event films and testimonials that do the selling for them: proof, in the attendees’ own words, that these summits are where AEC leadership shows up. The purpose video gives the firm an evergreen asset for explaining their value, and the portrait photography puts a consistent, human face on the brand.
